Andrew Strauss says England not complacent as he considers bowling changes

“For us to be jumping up and down and congratulating each other would be a long way off the mark,” Strauss said after rain disrupted England’s practice session at the Adelaide Oval on Wednesday. “We’re nil-all in the series so this Test takes on an even greater importance on the back of what happened in Brisbane.”

England cricketers have been criticised before about their rarefied existence in “the bubble” but for once it should be encouraged, the insularity protecting them from believing the publicity that is lauding them and bagging Australia after their match-saving feats in Brisbane.
