Hussey: Start cost us

Mike Hussey was left to lament his side’s shocking start to the second Test at Adelaide Oval with Australia crumbling to 3-2 after just the opening three overs as Simon Katich and Ricky Ponting were removed for a duck and Michael Clarke dismissed for two.

Hussey backed up his sensational first-Test knock of 195 in Brisbane with another impressive performance, chalking up 93 before he was dismissed by Graeme Swann, allowing England to run through Australia’s tail.
