Achilles injury risks Simon Katich’s Test place

Katich, well left

Australia’s veteran opening batsman Simon Katich has been struck by a recurrence of achilles trouble which has left their medical team working flat out to keep him in the Test and which must put his place in the third Test in Perth in jeopardy.
