England seamer Stuart Broad will miss the rest of the Ashes series after straining an abdominal muscle.
Nottinghamshire’s Broad, 24, suffered the injury while bowling in the fourth day of the second Test in Adelaide.
He will miss the final day’s play as England look to go 1-0 up in the series, having drawn the opening Test.
Broad’s injury could even put him in doubt for England’s squad for the World Cup in India and Bangladesh that starts on 19 February.
