Re-instated quick Mitchell Johnson is ready to fire in the third Test beginning on Thursday in Perth.

FOR all the emotional pain that Mitchell Johnson has suffered since being dropped from the Australian side for the first time, it was the physical pain his mentor Troy Cooley inflicted at training yesterday which suddenly became more immediate.

As if going from leading strike bowler to spectator wasn’t bad enough, Johnson missed a sharp, close catch from Cooley at the beginning of training in Perth yesterday which went through his hands and struck him in the groin.

While all the pointers are good for Johnson returning to the side for the third Test at the WACA Ground, beginning on Thursday, it was all bad yesterday morning as the paceman curled up in a ball, much to the amusement of his teammates.
