England seamer James Anderson insists he feels “fresh” despite making a flying visit back home for family reasons.
Anderson was allowed to return to England following the second Test triumph in Adelaide to attend the birth of his daughter Ruby.
However the Lancashire pace ace rejoined the England squad on Monday and Anderson believes the break will benefit his game.
“I didn’t try to acclimatise back to English conditions, just tried to stay on Australian time,” he said.
